Viola Ruth bounded all around Arizona and landed in Phoenix. Here she is playing fiddle and singing with her daughter, Marie, on piano. These were taken from reel-to-reel tape and wire recordings found at the Arizona Historical Foundation. Much more information is available about her.

Lady to the right, gent the other side
Honor your partner and then make a trade
Swing on the corner to a waltz promenade.
Then you waltz and waltz, the same old waltz
Waltz around again
Waltz and waltz the same old waltz
Waltz back home again.
Instructions
Four couples facing each other in an imaginary circle,
First couple (next to the music) take position as in a waltz,
WALTZ DOWN THE CENTER, etc.
Lady to the right which will bring her back on the right of her partner as in beginning.
HONOR, etc. Lady and gent bow to each other, turn
bow to gent on her right, he to lady on his left, take the right hand SWING ON THE CORNER, etc. (turn new partners around, bow
take waltz position WALTZ AND WALTZ, etc., back home again.
Each man and lady now have a new partner, each man does this change four times until he has his own partner back.
Couple No. 2 now does the change, then 3, and 4.
At end of couple No. 4, everybody waltz around the hall.
Note: As each couple begins the WALTZ DOWN THE CENTER The opposite couple or couple in front of them separate and they waltz between the gent and lady. This can also be done 1st and 3rd couple doing quadrille changes same time, 2nd and 4th at the same time.
